A Comic as a Proof of Concept
For a long time now, I've been wanting to write a multimedia story that I've named Ignite the Moon.
Writing in general is an artform that requires a lot of vision, planning, and revisions. Drawing a comic (by yourself) requires a lot of skills on top of that, including the foundations of art, sequential art, composition, color theory, character design, shape language, how to draw quickly... et cetera et cetera.
In short, planning a comic is kind of an undertaking.
I wanted to start slow, but I also wanted to have something to show people when I talk to them about my project.
I also wanted to introduce my characters and their most important traits.
I decided to write a four page comic focusing on each protagonist.
This also has the benefit of letting me get a feel for the production of longer comics.
Four pages may not seem like a lot, but it takes forever!
So far, I've only compleated one comic, out of maybe three or four.
This comic focuses on Myana, more on her down below, but Colati also makes an appearance!
It's not the most polished, but I hope you enjoy the comic!
